Free shipping within USA (USPS Ground Advantage or UPS).
Insurance can be arranged with cost upon request.
For shipping, I try to use paper material as much as possible, however I sometimes use packing peanuts, bubble wrap and air cushions. They are all reused materials. I try to give those already existed plastic materials another life.

Creation is my passion.
So, I never speak badly to my pieces! Instead, I add lots of love.
If a cup flies out of a wheel, no big deal. I still don't swear.
I respect clay's will. I call it a gift from surprise.
It adds great personality not only to its surface, but also to your hands. I just add my spice (modification) to its self-adjustment. That's how it works.
If the cup fits in your hand and to your fingers, one of my goals is accomplished.
If you don't get bored touching, looking and using my piece(s), another goal is accomplished.
If you come back to my shop, that's my ultimate goal!

They are microwave, dishwasher, and food safe unless otherwise noted.
As they are all handmade, none of them are the same, even in the same series.

I’ve been wanting to go back to SF and shop Koide Studio in person but haven’t had the time so I decided to shop online and have it shipped. Of course the artist packaged it so thoughtfully and intentionally. Every beautiful bowl made it safely to my home. I’ve already had several meals in my new pieces. Thank you so much! Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan. Touched clay for the first time in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico in 1992. I seriously started to play with clay in 2002 in San Francisco. Since then, I haven't stopped playing with clay.
